C2C Haiti is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Haitian communities through education, healthcare, environmental stabilization, and emergency relief. Founded in 2010 after the devastating earthquake, C2C Haiti believes that sustainable change comes through collaboration and community-driven leadership.
Through long-term partnerships and on-the-ground engagement, the organization works alongside local residents to build self-sufficient communities that thrive beyond crisis response. C2C Haiti connects donors, volunteers, and partners around the world to create a lasting impact in Haiti and beyond.
With her father’s inspiration, Haitian-born humanitarian and change agent, MarieYolaine Toms resigned from American Express, after the January 2010 earthquake in Haïti, to launch Community2Community (C2C), a 501c3 non-profit service organization. The Vision-Mission: creating self-sufficient communities by working with the community.
The Focus: Health, Education, Economic Development and Environmental Stabilization. The goal: replicate the pilot project, offering Diaspora and those with a heart for Haïti an opportunity to be part of something greater than themselves. MarieYolaine is a social entrepreneur dedicated to using her numerous talents to serve others. She lives, loves and laughs in New York and credits her joie de vivre to Luke 1:37, the people of Petit Goâve and the C2C Team.
